Engine 1
2007 Pierce Impel Rear Mount Rescue Pumper

Engine 1 is the department's main engine, being the first due truck to respond to all emergency calls.

This truck has a 880 gallon water tank and a Waterous 1250 gpm pump. It has a Husky 12 foam system with CAFS, a 10 Kw PTO generator, an XRT jaws pump system with Holmatro rescue tools, and a SpaceSaver cascade system with an Eagle booster pump.

Engine 2
1999 Pierce Saber Custom Chassis Pumper

Engine 2 is the department's second-line engine. It is used to backup the main engine and responds to all emergency calls.

This truck has a 1250 gallon water tank and a 1250 gpm pump. It has a Husky foam system and a 6 KW PTO generator.

Ladder 1
1973 Duplex 85' Aerial Ladder

Ladder 1 responds when requested for structure fires in the East Tawas coverage area as well as other neighboring jurisdictions.

This truck is an 85' aerial ladder. It has a 300 gallon water tank and pump. It also carries a stokes basket for rescue purposes.

Brush 1
2003 GMC 3/4 ton Pickup

Brush 1 responds to all brush fire calls, as well as when requested for other purposes such as traffic control or for power lines down in restricted access areas.

It carries hand tools for brush fires, has a 200 gallon water tank and a pump, as well as water backpacks.

Squad 1
1999 Ford E-350 Marque Type III Ambulance Package

Squad 1 responds to all Medical First Responder calls to assist Iosco County EMS. It also responds to vehicle accidents and structure fires to assist with the medical needs of victims and firefighters. Squad 1 also responds when requested for traffic control.

This unit carries a full complement of medical equipment and rehabilitation supplies, such as bottled drinking water.
